Jay2 0 Posted January 13, 2007 Hello mate, me again. I've only just got round to fitting mine, wanted to wait untill I'd had some spray work done, as everything gets covered in white powder. Anyway, I've had the plastic trim off and fitted the gaitor, but there's so much excess that the handbrake won't work properly. Did you cut yours down at the bottom? Been back onto the MrGaitor website and if you look at the picture of the Corrado the leather handbrake gaitor actually goes right up to the button and covers the handle. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... osi_widget Would like to know how you got on as I'm now confused. :? Cheers.
nocrap 0 Posted January 13, 2007 I believe they are different types, long and short, the mr gaitor ones i always see on the bay are around £15 and appear to only cover the lower part of it and not the handle.
mattnorgrove 0 Posted January 14, 2007 I had a Mr Gaitor one off the bay, covers the whole lever type jobbie. Too muh excess leather on mine so trimmed, refit, trimmed, refit till it sat properly and the handbarake actually sank into the surround when released. Bit of a ballache but ok once done. saysomestuff 0 Posted January 14, 2007 it's good value tbh - I made my own out of an offcut but for the hassle, £15 is pretty good
