skinnyman9000 0 Posted November 21, 2006 What aftermarket wheels do people have on here? Im thinking of buying a Momo Millenium wheel for the valver, some people have suggested that it might look too bling and to look at the team wheel, but after Vin's post about a group buy over on E38 it would seem that every dub in the country will soon be sporting one! So, lemme see pics of what you've got, to see what works with the rest of the interior Ta muchly Chris.
double-6s 0 Posted November 21, 2006 300mm suede sparco wheel. I want a yellow stripe for the top of the wheel :)
vr6corrado 0 Posted November 21, 2006 A bit of yellow insulation tape will do the job! ;) Very nice wheel by the way.

double-6s 0 Posted November 21, 2006 A bit of yellow insulation tape will do the job! ;) Very nice wheel by the way. Ta very much. Only about 70 quid from demontweeks :)
Phil K 0 Posted November 22, 2006 Mines a momo corse... 350mm - which is the same diameter as the standard wheel. Wouldn't mind going down to a 320mm at some point but 300mm is too small IMO 8)
double-6s 0 Posted November 22, 2006 I thought the standard wheel was HUGE? Isn't it about 380 or something? Are they all the same size across the rado range? 300 isn't too small mate (IMO). It just takes about 6 months to beef-up your wrists enough to handle it! :)
skinnyman9000 0 Posted November 22, 2006 The standard wheel is 350mm, i reckon a Momo Millenium in 320mm would look spot on
Riley 0 Posted November 22, 2006 I bought a momo millenium a while ago now,had it in the sportline. Stuck it in the corrado when i took the sportline off the road, the center comes off to reveal a blank horn push. But i found a genuine momo/vw horn push :D And yep, this is the same car !

herisites 0 Posted November 23, 2006 better pic, still looks big though :-/ SNAP! you have good headunit taste  Oh and those dials look sexual!
Guest Posted November 23, 2006 hehe :) its the swirly annoying graphics that sold me on the headunit ;) the dials all came together in the end, took 3 evenings though as I didn't have a hex driver for the LCDs, and I was trying to wire everything up in the dark after work :( they look quality at night though, and encourage you to turn you lights on at dusk, just to see them 8) wish i'd stuck the fuse cover back before taking the picture
double-6s 0 Posted November 23, 2006 Is that steering wheel off a bus? It looks massive! Nice but large.
herisites 0 Posted November 23, 2006 hehe :) wish i'd stuck the fuse cover back before taking the picture  Only just noticed that  Well the swirly graphics did interest me in my headunit but it was more to do with my mate having it at a low low price due to it doing the rounds  Are those dials the ones from the group buy? Are they just a straight swap for standard?
Guest Posted November 23, 2006 Dials are the DDI ones from the group buy, plus some bezels that I bought seperately (they are more of a brushed finished than the GB ones i think), I prefer them. Straight swap yeah, take the old ones out, change the LED polarised film and colour, new dials in, then just run the inverter from the headlight switch to the illuminated dials, and Robert is your fathers brother! edit: Pic added
