daves16v 1 Posted December 18, 2006 Holding onto the Passat till about Feb, gives me time to sort stuff on the Rado. Yep very frustrating.
Louie Lungbubble 0 Posted December 18, 2006 Know the feeling. Mine's sat in the garage calling my name, but I have to walk past it and use the new (temporary) barge. Heartbreaking. It's like turning your back on an old faithful dog that's whimpering for a walk
daves16v 1 Posted April 20, 2007 Just a quick update on where I am with this. I'm please to say it should be ready for the road 2nd week in May. Just need to get it mot'd and have some paint done then insure it. It still needs stuff doing but it can be done anytime. I'll post up some pics when it's ready. No sneaky previews today I'm afraid. daves16v 1 Posted May 5, 2007 Rado had the MOT today, went straight through without any problems :D :D How's that for a 14 year old car with 140k on the clock and bought for £1200. Needless to say I'm well chuffed. Got the insurance sorted today too so if nothing goes wrong with the tax I'll be in it Wednesday - yippee :D sorry if I sound like a big kid

Jim 2 Posted May 9, 2007 Looks great mate :) Got the same idea with the badging on the rear! Great minds and all that. I'm running the same setup on the front grille too with regards normal late grille + black VW badge.. snapsy's again! Any plans suspension wise? daves16v 1 Posted May 9, 2007 Any plans suspension wise? I thought someone might comment on that. Yes just need to let my account recover, as usual  Thanks for the comments Jim, I'm happy with the way it's turned out. I've spent about £1065 in the 5 months I've had it, the big money going on the alarm, alloys and sorting the rear bumper.

daves16v 1 Posted July 18, 2007 A little update - I've started brightening up the engine bay with Polished Stainless bonnet prop and the tube from the ISV (no it's not a shower riser  ). I've got a few more plans but I'll keep them to myself for now.
daves16v 1 Posted September 2, 2007 Another update with more Stainless added, most of the parts have been made by myself. First interior shot added.
