Are there many Campaigns still about. I've only seen one in the flesh once. Do any forum members have one ?

Thanks chaps. as i thought only a few. I'm scratching my head now apart from the inside being red did they have different rims. just tried a google search but no luck

Sort of. They used VW "Monte Carlo" wheels which were not used apart from on very early VR's in the UK, but were used elsewhere on the Volkswagen range on cars like the MK3 GTI..

 

The Campaign was also painted a unique (again, to the Corrado but not to other VW models) colour..

I think she knows it's rare just doesn't want to sell it, despite being approached by Campaign a few years ago.

She knows what she's got, but it wasn't me who approached her, she doesn't care about the "scene" I believe to be the case...

 

Discovered a couple of new car park "dings" today :(

 

There is another one about in London (albeit I haven't heard nor seen that one for about 3 years now), and a final one I cannot find any trace of at all (there was a rumour that it was written off pre-delivery)

Ah my apologies, rumour mill not quite getting it right again!!

 

Still a shame though as that appears to be one of the last still running around, even though I again understand she likes the car, the main reason she won't sell, it is likley it will be in an unrecoverable condition when she does finally get rid of it.

 

Wouldn't mind betting the 'lost' one was bought by someone who has it under a tarp somewhere.

Jimbo bought the last one that was for sale, I bought the one before that... Last sale apart from that, that I know of, was Chris De-bono's in 1999 (which I nearly bought too)
