antonio_b12 0 Posted April 19, 2008 Right, some more pics :) 600 wet and grit. 2-3 coats of paint on the inside. Then went up to 800 grit. Then 1200 and started to lay a few coats down. Not the best at spraying but it will do. Will leave this to dry for a couple of days and then start the lacquer part! Will have to see how the colour matches the car, hmmm maybe when it stops raining probably.

antonio_b12 0 Posted April 20, 2008 Looking pretty good there dude. Just in the process of doing my Borbets too. What paint are you using? Just a generic rattle can? Cheers fella! The paint is Ford Mecury Grey its an very nice light grey, but when you add clear lacquer it goes a tad darker. Yeah Normal rattle can stuff from Halfords.

Pretty thin tyres, should be feeling thoses bumps  Interesting on the left, my standard 15" speedline with 205/50/15 And on the right, new wheels with 205/40/16 So i should be ok to deck it then

Leonard 0 Posted October 15, 2008 Interesting on the left, my standard 15" speedline with 205/50/15 And on the right, new wheels with 205/40/16 They are smaller because you downsized two sizes rather than one. Ideally you should have run 205/45/16 Look good though

antonio_b12 0 Posted October 15, 2008 Cheers for the comments.... nice one, must have been cool trying out the suspension geometry on the ring 8) How did the car feel? The Car felt great, steering is quick and responsive. Understeer is still there though until i source some anti-roll bars and rear strut brace  Awesome. First time I've seen your car properly and that is one meaty intercooleryou've got there :D Corrados look great used in anger! Yea the intercooler totally transforms the appearance on my C, but its not just for looks the amount of air that hits the intercooler at speed is pretty obvious. But the amount of air that now gets to my radiator is really crazy, i can't remember what i used to get on the motorway before, but now my temp stays between 70 - 75 degrees. Great stuff Tony! Looks like you had a great time, just like the rest of the ringers :) Still haven't found any track photos of mine yet :( Those carousel shots look great. Can't wait to go back again eh? Cheers Dave, Yeah may be another trip sometime next year, but we'll have to see.
