Fecking Idiot Boy Racers

Recommended Posts

What is it with kids in little Corsas or similar?

Last night about 10:00 i was driving home from work, pulled up at a set of traffic lights, Mr Corsa pulls up next to me. I just pulled away normally and out accelerated him without even bothering with a proper launch, now the road goes down to 1 lane in about 1/4 mile (outside Port Solent for those interested)

Bearing in mind this is a 40 zone with islands in the middle with 'Keep Left' signs everywhere and my spolier was just on its way up (I then backed off), the idiot then overtakes me after it goes down to 1 lane on the OTHER SIDE of a traffic island with traffic coming the other way, he must of been doing about 80 -90mph the way he flew off down the road!

The limit drops to 30mph in another mile and he just kept on flying down the road.

No wonder insurance premiums are so high with muppetts driving around like that!

the worst thing is now he will be telling all his other mates that he beat a C.

I'll admit im not the worlds best driver but i know when its time to be sensible, Is it just me or is doing double the speed limit on the wrong side of the road a VERY irresponsibe thing to do?

It would be all right if they only hurt themselves. Then I wouldn't have a problem with them doing that. They can take themselves out of the gene pool for all I care. It's the fact that they are putting other people at risk.

thats what happens when you drive a modified car or even something a little sporty, they even tailgate my missus in her Standard G60. its all part and parcel of it. unfortunatly if you dont like it, you may have to drive a Vauxhall Omega or Skoda Octavia VRs. I wont even overtake/ speed past one of those incase they are an undercover cop car!

I used to have a vRS (very capable car!). It was amazing the amount of times drivers would edge past me on the motorway, just in case I was an unmarked copper! There were quite a few in Hampshire where I used to live, so that might have something to do with it!

Thought the 'Ring sticker on the back would be a giveaway to be honest!!

i quite often have people tailgating me, quick blast on the throttle soon gets rid of them though,

Its not a case of i dont like it, its when guys get dangerous and do stupid things to make them feel big it worries me! I mean if im in the mood to blow them away i will do, but usually ill accelerate to the speed limit quick and not any (or much) further, whichis normally enough to make a point!

but it does get annoying when on the commute to/from work having someone glued to your bumper for several miles when you cant move over coz your over taking and cant speed up coz you have someone in front!

Tailgating is worse than just speeding. If you don't leave enough space to stop it doesn't matter how fast you are going. I find that in my corrado, and I used to get it in my GTI as well, a lot of people just seem so desperate for you to notice them.

i hate people who tailgate too, dont see the point, doesnt get you there any quicker, and nobody has instant reactions if the car infront brakes hard. Plus if you leave a larger gap it gives you enough room to get some speed up if you wanted to overtake them.

Connect Brake lights to a push-button on the dash... One quick press and no more tailgater!

If they do become persistant, simply connect your sump-plug to another button and release oil over the road causing them to skid off into a tree

lol, thanks for that John!

Normally i wouldnt care less, but it was his apparant complete disregard for speed limits, road signs and safety of other road users that annoyed me!

If his mates are as thick as he is, they won't know what a C is anyway.....and besides, he beat a C by doing an illegal and idiotic manouvre.... what a hero....I wish I was in his gang.

Its pretty insane isn't it. I've seen some truely insane driving on busy public roads.. most recent was a chap in a 200SX trying to chase a dude in an R33 Skyline a few weeks ago - despite there being other cars on the roundabout, they both nailed it and the 200SX was basically doing a sideways slide because of the lairy RWD'ness of it whilst the Skyline gripped and went! Nutters!

I've often thought about buying a nice plain white Volvo T5 (or similar) estate, sticking a few traffic cones in the boot and a high vis jacket, and wearing white shirt and black tie then hitting the road.. I bet the response from other motorists would be INCREDIBLY cautious :) :D

theres a time and a place for driving like a loon, but on the public roads with other people around isnt it!

Jim - that is a brilliant idea!

Jim Used the same tactics when I had a Blue Mk2 Ashtray as a co car... remove hubcaps.. Hi-vis jacket on Shelf (worked as Regional Manager for a fuel co so needed when on Tankers checking deliveries etc)... Flash of headlights on Motorway and hey-presto.. clear road...110mph all the way to Yorkshire!

Mind you try that these days...and you'll crash into some Kn@b-jocky in a 3-Beemer diving from the slip-road to lane 3 in one fell swoop...

chavvy boy racers are a nuisance,i had a similar stint with a b reg convertible escort,(yes i can hear you all saying oh dear!) lol.it was the first week i had my rado and i was driving back from asda, the escort watched me pull out of asda car park and him and another car (probably another chavvmobile ie corsa etc...) followed me.the escort tailgated me for a bout a mile.i wasnt intrested in putting my foot down as had nothing to prove that my car could leave his standing, instead i just continued at the speed limit at which point he and his mate on a single carriageway road both decided to overtake me with oncoming vehicles. probably the most stupid and ridiculous thing i have seen on the road.i just dont understand why these people feel the need to do it,and what do they achieve???

I used to be a bit silly on the roads when I was younger, but I never tailgated or did any wild manouvres like over taking around a central island....what a fookin cock, I'd imagine he'll be on some forum somewhere boasting about it! I'm sure its got something to do with the size of his minature penis!

 this all sounds so familiar, but then again i come from essex so it's no suprise. everywhere i go, there is always a saxo or a corsa, or another scrotum owned car trying to sit up my arse. it has become boring now. depending on my mood i do 1 of 2 options. option 1 being a favourite, slam on the brakes and simply look in the mirror and laugh at the panic on their faces, or option 2, destroy them with a blip of the throttle, they generally dont bother after they have been made to look silly.

only car this doesnt work on is the white g60 corrado who i seem to meet on the road all the time, rumours are that it is running 280bhp so getting away from him proves to be pretty difficult :)
