Bojmobile 0 Posted September 16, 2007 Totally gutted! Devastating! Scotland has lost a true hero! Was really looking forward to seeing him in the Race Of Champions in December. Really feel for his family - terrible his 5yr old son being killed too.

Sonicriot13 0 Posted September 16, 2007 Cue the tribute vids. Bad Iron Maiden song but some of the corners are so perfect they brought tears to my eyes.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zwb-RNbdx5U&NR=

corozin 0 Posted September 16, 2007 Met Colin both at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and at the Castle Combe rally days. Really nice bloke, incredible talent. Seems all our world champion rally drivers (Clarke, Pond, Burns, McCrae) have all been taken from us earlier than they should have been. What a tragedy. Jay2 0 Posted September 16, 2007 Great sportsman and Scot. Still lived where he grew up, which I though was testimony to the bloke. Unlike so many other sportspeople or famous Scots that live 'abroad' for tax reasons. Sympathise for all the families involved.

Riley 0 Posted September 16, 2007 The title didn't say "post if you care" It does now... I myself...and im guessing pretty much anyone else with an ounce of respect dosn't want a thread like this ruined,so please have a little word with yourself. The Hub 0 Posted September 16, 2007 The title didn't say "post if you care" Can't believe your lack off respect, why bother commenting at all, it would be easier just to say nothing which is what you should have done...... I never knew him myself obviously, but I still feel sad for his loss of life and his wife and child that he has left behind. Ask yourself how you would feel if someone said this about your loved ones? Disgusted  RIP Colin McRae
