Corrado G60

heres what been done

 

G-WERKS engine. 1.9 ( 83mm pistons) fully balance bottom end, vr6 clutch, lightened g60 flywheel. Cnc ported head. G-werks spec Newman cam, piper adjustable cam pulley. Grey motor sport injectors. G-werks 4 branch manifold and custom exhaust 2.5” bore. 2 boxes. Ported inlet manifold, custom focus rs charge cooler 3” boost pipes. Gt4 pre rad, Erl Aquamist water injection and a gallon tank in boot. G-werks front engine mount. Diesel gear box mount, vibratech rear engine mount. Custom road mapped chip, 65mm tooth belt pulley, St4 charger.

 

Have no idea what the power would be

after a harsh winter cave the G a good clean today and got a few snaps

Right been a busy bee past few weeks

 

Brought a mk3 Golf GTI of a member on here for £400, needed abit of work but im had with it now, this is what looked like when i got it

anyway back to the corrado, well not alot has happen to it lool, started taking it apart and slowly getting bits for it, but going to do the full works on it now, so god knows when il have it done

 

but this is what it looks like at the moment, such a sad sight to see

Golf is looking good Rob, amazing what a difference a drop and a set of wheels makes.

 

I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with the Corrado this time round.

well the work on the corrado has started

 

heres the 1st day of work, just taking it aprt lol

Reason i started doing was due to he roof rails, sinking etc,

next job is windows out, engine and interior out then we can get on with the sanding down

Blimey you got a lot of work on your hands there, i remember seeing this at ultimate dubs last year and thought it was mint!

I have never noticed your on 5 stud. Always just assumed you were 4 stud because of how the wheels sat in the arch and the obvious fact its a g60. Presumably there has been some arch flaring to get it like that, looks amazing, will definitely be following how this comes along. You changing the boot?

Its gone :( shell was rotten so the g60 lump is now in the mk3 above..
