Well I think I have just found what will have to be my next engine upgrade. Not exactly an upgrade, but forget all the superchargers, turbos etc.. 312BHP Normally aspirated straight from VW. 3.6L 24v V6 in the new Passat...... yummy!! Should fit alright next year I reckon. :) All I need to do now is find one... oh and the money for one! :(

The new Corrado/Scirocco that VW are producing will apparently end up with that engine eventually as well mate. It would somehow be quite an amusing way to come full circle and put one from a Scirocco MK3/MK4 into your Corrado :)

Nice to meet you last night Mr R :)

 

Went out in this car last night, and I can safely say its the most sorted corrado I have ever been in.

 

Despite being very low, and running on 17s the ride quality was awesome. The interior is out of this world, and the engine is just something else, absolutely stonking amount of pull from no revs at all.

 

Fantastic car, hard to put into words really.

 

Must must MUST getting mine running at chirstmas!!!

I think to be honest I am sticking with the 2.8 24v for now. Its plenty quick enough at the mo. Supercharger will be next probably.
