From today, I am only in on 23/12 but then off till 4/1/10 so won't be able to answer insurance-related questions on here till then. KipVR 1 Posted January 4, 2010 Hi, Just curious, as I'll have to insure my Corrado 3.2 soon, I've always gone with Brentacre before for one main reason, when i phone up, I get to talk to one of just three of four people but usually Kerry, so if ever there is a problem i get to talk to the same person each and every time and it gets sorted quickly. I also don't get put on hold for hours on end when I phone up during my lunch break (HIC :censored: ) and their quotes are always competitive (but always open to fresh quotes!) How many people do you have dealing with customers? How long is your average caller on hold time if at all (not for sales!) This is the first time i'll have my Corrado as a second car, I have 7 years NC currently on my daily, an Arosa 1.0 for my sins :D Do you do any deals for 2 cars or do I just insure both seperately? Can I split my NC between the two? Hi There are 6 people answering calls in Customer Service & they all sit near each other. We don't close for lunch and are always open to fresh quotes! I'm unsure the hold time but we get tons of good feedback about the department so I presume people are happy! We are due more snow in our location in the next few days but as half our staff are fairly local anyway, this shouldn't be a problem. I'll let you know however if there are any significant changes re staffing! UPDATE - JUST BEEN TOLD WE ARE SHUTTING AT 3.30PM TODAY - WEDNESDAY 6TH JANUARY! We have just calculated the figures for 2009 and they show that the average recorded saving we made for our new customers last year was 12.5% off their BEST quote so it's certainly worth a call! corrado_sunderland 0 Posted June 1, 2010 Just as a matter of interest, when I look at the number of people who have called us from this forum and compare that to the number of forum users, it is quite a low percentage. I realise that some people don't meet the criteria but we have broken records quite often this year in terms of income showing that this scheme is successful when people do ring us. In fact, we're on target for it being one of the best years we've ever had in 26 years of trading. My question is why aren't more people calling us on here? Just curious! i tried you in the past and because mine is LHD you were way over the top but if things are different these days i will try again as i have a traders now as it worked out just the same cost wise to do it.
