My g60

Recommended Posts

Had the G for a couple of months now and never said hello so here goes.

In the past I've had a 9n polo, mk2 golf gl, audi a3, mk4 GT-TDi but now I can get insured, I couldnt resist getting a rado G60!

Bought it standard, very clean other than the paint needing attention

But got annoyed with rubbish wipers and headlights so upgraded to Lupo GTi wipers and uprated bulbs which both work amazingly well compared to the old!

I wanted to put my own stamp on it so bought some gotti 15X9s:

fitted them and had it rolling roaded at Regal Autosport:

It was 173BHP with everything standard other than a full S/S exhaust which I was very happy with!

The car was too high so bought some weitec coilovers and fitted them with the help of a mate:

now I want a 68mm pulley to help with the SNS chip I've got.

But being new the corrado scene I havnt a clue what the differences are between early and late models! I've been told I have late wings + bonnet but early front bumper? The reason I ask is because Im missing the lower grill and don't know if I need an early one or late or if there is any difference!

any help or comments are greatly appreciated! oh and thanks horney (if he's on here) for the pic :D

very nice, good mods there :)

the early bumper has a different line to it where it meets the wing and the foglights/indicators are more recessed. You have an early bumper there, i don't know if the lower bit is different or not.

Nice car, havn't seem them wheels on a rado before. Im pretty sure 95% that the grilles are the same, it was only the indicators that were changed. You could just buy the later bumper with everything attached, probably be easier to get hold of and they arn't that expensive!

Love those wheels!

I always find it great how amazing the corrado looks when fitted with wide wheels and coilovers.

Looks awesome.

Have you had to do much arch work to get the wheels to fit? I'm thinking of rebuilding my 15" split rims to 8.5" wide.
