Well, that's that then. Had someone finally come to view last weekend, negotiated price and then I drove it down on Friday to the South Coast to its new home.

Was really fighting back the emotions as I left it with the new owner, and mass amounts of counter-selling thoughts the night before I drove it down.

It's gone to a good home and will be getting the pampering it deserves, so I'm pleased with that.

Already having thoughts of buying another at somepoint, but there is a definite V8 itch I need to scratch 1st...

Final photo I took of my beautiful Corrado...he is already being missed like you wouldn't believe!!

Well after the best part of a year searching for the next right motor, I think I've found it. Really need to scratch that V8 itch and I'm going to view this beauty on Sunday...I've pretty much made my mind up just need to test drive it.

Has been maintained to a high standard and a very reasonable price, too. Top bloke who's selling and he had 5 TVR's at one point last year and is now downsizing so I'm sure he's not short of a few quid!!

Recently mapped after new ignition system, looking at 231.6 bhp @ 5254RPM and 256.3 max torque, which is very respectable for the 4.0L

Can't wait for the 140 mile drive home!! :D

I saw a few of these at silverstone earlier today and did feel a small tinge of jealousy!

I would have thought a 4.0 v8 would have made more than 231 brake though?

Haha! If by some chance I won the lottery, I would definitely have a RWD Corrado project with a lazy V8...I've had these thoughts before :)

They're beautiful cars, I'm fortunate enough to have a couple of close friends that work on a lot of good motors check their website out:http://www.lloydspecialistdevelopments.co.uk/

Surprisingly not with the Rover block, TVR gave figures of 240 I believe from their 4.0's
