been on forum for a while and thought id post up my 16v

helious blue 'G' reg registered 19/1/90 im the 10th owener

clean black and green spec karman early interior

started of as a 1.8kr but blew it up last year

the plans are to turbo it and give it a fresh respray but keep it as a daily driver

what ive started to do

put in a 2.0L abf from a seat

cheap coilovers

g60 brake conversion

powerflex bushes all round

 

impro smoked rear lights

late spec headlights,fogs,indicators and bonnet

porsche d90 rims

new keskins

moon roof

put in electric windows and relocated switches

mega squirt, t3 turbo, 440cc rc injectors

 

do that then respray in aqua pearl blue

 

any advice and coments apreciated thanks :)

today started to put onn powerflex bushes. got the anti roll bar links on, but wishbone 1s were wrong.. so need new ones tomorrow :( lol

small update.. new double fan and rad from seat cordoba fitted, had to mod the fan surround to fit, but saves me a job when turbo goes ahead.... ecu next i think, pics to follow :)

Just need a decent bottom end and can start doing ecu, not gonna do the climate control just yet

finally more goings on today, new inlet and injectors fitted, all the crappy k-jet gone. mega-squrit being wired up now, should be done by end of the week with a basic map :D

mate said he'll take a few pics while he does it so will add soon.

got car back yesterday :) . BIG difference, feels a lot more torquey and responsive, oil is P1ssin out the breather tho, bottom end is REALLY bad, used over a ltr in 2 days.. but have been booting it, sounds a lot different with the big cone filter too.

no pics of the work getting carried out, but will upload a before and after in the morning.

current map on ecu is nice, bit jerky in some places but will all get sorted in time, not to fussed til i find a decent low millage abf at a decent price

only pics i got for now, ecu relocated under glove box, got some braided fuel linnes made up.

If u look look where airbox used to be, you can see how much oil is being pushed out the breather, and out the spark plugs and out the rocker... engine is past its best, but new one will be getting put in in the future. stil using it as my daily so going through a few problems with the basic map settings, but at least FINALLY i can see progress
