Shift lights in dash, please dont laugh!!!

Recommended Posts

so was talking to prev owner of my corrado last night and he told me about this.

it appears the unused warning lights on the bottom right of dash cluster have been turned into shift lights... now thats gay enough, but whats even gayer, is that they are a million miles off!

at 2k rpm they are showing full thottle/revs indicating should change up. does anyone know anything about these kits so as i can get them set correctly?

i DO NOT want to actually use these on the road, and nor will they be on for intervals of more than about 10seconds, but seeing as they are there, i figured i may as well get em working properly just for the novelty value!

Hmmm, I'd wouldn't call these gay, plus they are made by a forum member and are quite popular as well! I like them, they look OE and are subtle as opposed some ludicrous sized rev counter that turns red. Now that's gay.

:camp:

I'm sure someone will chip in with the answer, if not I have a set (yes I am hetero lol) and can dig out the instructions for you when I get home.

If you think they are that gay i'd be happy to take them off your hands for the price of postage :norty:

They are just pulling your leg really.

If you hold the button down the first light should start to flash, rev your engine untill the point you want the first light to come on, then press the button again. Then the red light will flash, rev untill you want the red light to come on and press the button again. The other two lights in the middle will automaticly adjust to equal points inbetween the first and last light. And thats how you adjust them :salute:
