OSV 0 Posted January 24, 2011 These genuine VAG parcel shelf straps are available and a good price. Not Corrado specific but a great alternative http://www.veedubmachine.co.uk/index.ph ... cts_id=

Pat_McCrotch 0 Posted January 30, 2011 Anyone emailed yet? Heres my response :) Said I am restoring two Corrado's and needed these parts and got a springily personal response. :) I was expecting a copy n paste job. Hello, Neil.. I'm very sorry every time I have to tell the customer that something is not available, I have some old VW's , too, and even we have sometimes no chance... I will send your email just like it is to Mr. Uhrbach, he is one of the guys here in our shop, who are trying to find the old manufactures, and perhaps manage to re-produce a part.. I don't think that I can make you much hope, and I have no idea about the time or the price such a part could be in the end.... I hope we can help you with the parts we have, at least.. RW1 0 Posted January 30, 2011 They are a really nice outfit. I'm not surprised at the personal letter. Thorsten Wieseler who I speak to on the phone is also a very nice chap. They've moved out of the old Automuseum some time back (door in a side wall opened into an Aladdin's cave :) ) Now in an old dealership garage in Wolfsburg. Ship everything through VW Wolfburg's Logistics Dept (DHL). Even the crates are worth keeping for storage. I might add that I also get VW parts as original manfacturer from this guy. http://stores.ebay.co.uk/tierod69 He's reliable. Just bought an ATE brake part from him for the VR6. Maybe if he was given a list, quantity and including manufacturer's name, he may be able to source non stamped VW original supplier parts. .
Pat_McCrotch 0 Posted February 19, 2011 Rear VR6 badge has been added to the site :) List updated. Can this thread be put anywhere a bit more in the public domain? Like the wanted section?
