chrishill 0 Posted February 26, 2004 mine does the same mate, in my case its the engine moving and making the downpipe off the exhaust hit some metal crossbar thing that goes between the 2 front wheels. Have you had the full exhaust changed? need to get my engine mounts looked at ASAP...
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted February 26, 2004 Could be the rear mount or your clutch is juddering.....
Majik 0 Posted February 26, 2004 Could be the rear mount or your clutch is juddering..... or both, as the clutch puts extra stress on the mounts
Rossco 0 Posted February 26, 2004 hmmm i thought of that but it only does it in 1st gear, plus the clutch is super fresh as i had the box off 6 months ago and we checked the clutch and it almost brand new, why does a clutch judder? :?:
dr_mat 0 Posted February 26, 2004 Clutch might judder cos it's not quite perfectly centred, there might be uneven wear on the plates (cause by a previous judder due to poor engine mounts that was never corrected), it might judder because of oil or moisture on the clutch plates, or because the clutch shafts aren't straight (dodgy shaft bearings?). Many reasons, none particularly cheap to "fix".. There may be more, I'm no expert..
