What's this handle type part?

It looks more like something I'd use to hoof my shoes on lol.

It goes under the seat, the seat adjustment back and forth is on the right, that goes on the left and allows adjustment for the tilt of the seat.

That's the seat tilt adjuster. It goes underneath one of the front seats. If its a passenger side one and you don't need it......... :) I'll buy it off you!

Thanks for the quick response guys :) I can safely say it's not going to adjust anything sitting in my boot! Any idea what size screws I can use? :)

Good luck sourcing them VW stopped producing them ages ago.

 

Worth checking your screws are still tight as they come loose over time and that usually results in a snapped attachment point at the end of the handle. I would also recommend using some threadlock on the screws as well.
