dragon green 5 Posted December 13, 2011 Small update, Went for my weekly visit tonight, and watched as the windscreen was taken out ! For the record two men three quarters of an hour ! No holes, just a little rust to sort out. While preparing the rest of the car ,a hole was found on the o/s/r sill ,rust cur out,and new repair panel made. Sunroof out, rear hatch now off. Both doors, bonnet, both bumpers, slam panel and n/s wing off,all glass now off, nearly finished the prep, primer end of the week,

KIPVW 0 Posted December 22, 2011 Nice progress at last, how does the rear panel look welded in place? were you happy with how it looked? I was so paranoid about how the new piece would blend in with the sealant over the seams (etc) trying to get it to look factory lol! they did a superb job though! Nice to keep popping down to see it aint it! :)
dragon green 5 Posted December 22, 2011 It's my workmates dad that's been doing all the panel beating, and I know what a fussy sod he is ! Door and tail shuts are spot on, I know it's a slow job, but the workmanship is first class, I'm really pleased how at last it's all coming together.
