Are you sure they can't do anything about a dent on a crease? I saw a Corrado last weekend and it had a dent in one of the wheel arches. I wondered how easy/expensive it would have been to repair?....

I got a dent taken out of the crease by dentmaster and although its not perfect it's pretty hard to spot was easy to spot before but now you really need to look for it.

It's worth noting that Dent Master is a franchise, so precisely how good they are and how much they cost will depend on who you get.

I'd be interested to know too tho, my C has more dents and scrapes than I can shake a stick at...

Chips Away have customer reviews on their website that give the franchisee's name which is a bonus. I don't know anyone who has actually used any of these companies before though?

Dent Master just do Dents

Chips Away do Dents, interiors and stone chips and scratches

Okay just spoken to a couple more people....

Is it true the paint weakens if you pull out the dents and eventually rusts?

I wouldn't think so. I had various dings taken out in 2003, at CCGB Nat Day and Inters, and no sign of any problems. Several were on the swage line and removed no trouble.

My mate used chipsaway on his golf anniversary, and highly recommends them.

i need to give them a shout when I get back in a few weeks too.

I think there's a way to remove dents by rubbing the door skin on the inside with something like a wire threaded steel ball (cant think of a better way to describe it). Its a bit tedious but does it quite evenly. I'm going to have a go at it sometime myself as my drivers door is TERRIBLE at the mo.
