Yup i have that pipe on mine too and no PCV - not sure, but i think early VRs came with a straight through pipe and a dummy sensor on the end. That pipe isnt available seperate, only with the inlet. I searched a couple of years ago for one, ended up getting one from the states for £30 :-/ If its split if could be dripping oil onto the manifold heat shield.

Ben the black box is the damper box for the ISV - basically a box with foam inside it to damped noise. Sorry cant help with the servo question.

Ah I see. I don't think it's leaking at all but the pipe always comes loose after I've repaired it with tape and jubileed it. I guess I'll just have to try to repair it again then :(

Well I've got a second hand servo in good cond on the way from eBay so will be seein if that makes much difference.

Is there normally a lot of air in the master cylinder before bleeding? Haven't got around to bleeding it yet but don't wanna change servo if no need!

I'll just have to try it .

Cheers guys

Ben

More rust found!!

d4b780df-9702-ddb7.jpg

It fell out from the back of the rear bumper any ideas? Lol

d4b780df-9748-5788.jpg

Got round to looking at the speakers too. I've traced the wire from the pas doorcard to here

d4b780df-97ec-d8af.jpg

One wires from passenger side and I think the other 1s from the drivers side!

They guy before had focal tweeters in the dash but as I got it with no doorcards or seats i didn't have speakers wired up! I have no sound at the mo. Do these two wires need to be wired up to the head unit? Where do the rear speaker wires come through ? I'm poor at electrics do any help would be great.

Got a load of heat shield clips too do can finally fix that rattle!

why not buy his and use yours for spares? the rust from the rear bumper may just be the heat shield thats dissolved. No issue with that.

So big things are happening in bens world this week!

Which means unfortunately I may be breaking my rado (K999TRM) !!!!

That's if there's enought interest in it!

If not I'll sell it as spares/repairs/conversion etc.

Take a look through the thread as I've pictured and listed most things I've done to it!

PM me if your interested in the whole car or are interested in anything inparticular!

I'll stick up a breaking thread as soon as plans are confirmed :D

Cheers guys

Shame about the wheels lol

Picked it up off Rob22sri earlier today. Top bloke! Its got its problems but overall it's 100x better than mine! Ran lovely on the 50 odd miles home. Everything worked apart frm the sunroof but I knew that.

The paintworks crazy blue!! Lol and the black dash and plastics look soo much better imo!

F**CKING LOOOVE IT!!! :)

But as I'm short of money for a few weeks, it's only insured for today :'(

Mines going to be broken to you guys on here so I'll put up a thread tomorrow sometime when I've got a list of stuff and photos.

The water was the sunroof drain! It was not even connected!

I cleaned out the drain and reconnected it :) all sorted, the oil leak is on the oil cooler! so will do an oil change and coolant change and get a new oil cooler fitted :)

I broke the sunroof motor though :( so the sunroof doesnt work now!
