Johnny H 0 Posted September 26, 2012 Looking at buying a new watch and think I've found one i really like. My wife said I could have it for my 30th from her, which is sweet. Does anyone own a Rolex Air King? This is the one I'm thinking about buying
vornwend 0 Posted September 26, 2012 Quite like the Seiko. I had a similar "Fast Navigator/Aviators" (that may not be the right name!) version but its now broken and they no longer make them. The best thing about it was how bright the dials are at night - what's the Seiko 5 like on that score? Jim 2 Posted September 26, 2012 I believe the lume on those particular models is pretty good at night, Vorn. Try this place for your watches - have ordered several through them with no problems and includes tracked and insured Fedex in the price - you'll struggle to find them cheaper anywhere else: http://www.creationwatches.com :)
j_s14a 0 Posted September 26, 2012 Christopher Ward C4, Battle of Britain Memorial Flight limited edition, number 99/100. VERY hard to come by, they were made specifically for the Squadron and the few left over we're sold privately. Christopher Ward do loads of nice watches, and they're very affordable for what they are: http://www.christopherward.co.uk/ Made in the UK with Swiss movements.
