Sean-p 10 Posted December 7, 2012 Hello everybody my name is Sean from kendal, im fearly new to this fourm. So what i will do is show you few pics of where my vw adventure started So my first car was a 1.3 mk3 polo it was a little tatty but after a respray and lowering it looked like new after that i put some wheels on and left it as really with being a student i didt have a lot of money :( So after driving the polo for 3 years it got stolen from out side my girlfriends house in manchester (still not been found 9 months on) on to the corrado basicly i found it in a field where it had been sat for the best part of a year poor thing the owner let it over heat while it was sat running and neverdid any thing with it, i went to look at it and all i looked at was to see if the electrics worked which they did (result) so i handed over the grand sum of £250 and took it home. So first job was to strip the engine down to see how much damage was caused when it over heated
Sean-p 10 Posted December 7, 2012 while the engine was out i gave the bay a little clean bought myself a little somthing nice for the rebuild of the engine :) now i had the manifold it was time to get the engine back together with the added help with some kr cams now the engine is in it and running it was time to get the car polished as it was all flat from the time it has been sat in the sun. Once that was done i could enjoy the car and get some pictures.

OllieVR6 0 Posted December 7, 2012 Wow, fantastic mate well done! Not a fan of those wheels myself but fully appreciate how expensive wheels are. Your handy work is awesome, do you do all your own welding? That's a skill I want to learn.
Sean-p 10 Posted December 7, 2012 cheers man yeah the plan is to get some th-mono in the new year ive been between jobs recently but im all sorted now :) i did a little bit most of it is my dads welding but i learnt at college and to be honest its not as hard as you think its just setting the welder up but one you get the hang of it its easy. James. 9 Posted December 8, 2012 Fond memories of my first Corrado in Alpine white, also a K reg 16v. I like your style with the simple mods and tasteful deletions. But pictures we like. In fact, more more more.

Ralphead 0 Posted December 8, 2012 Nice work. I bought my Corrado for the same money, in at the deep end eh? Sorry to hear about your Polo, me and a mate timed each other breaking into his mk1 after he locked his keys inside. I got it down to 14 seconds including bending the coat hanger. Is that a Fantic 200 and TY175 in the garage?
rado mc 0 Posted December 8, 2012 Gonna have to keep my eyes peeled for corrado's in fields if that's what you find. Good work. Was it all plain sailing then with no issues? Keeps me motivated to get mine done and back on the road that's for sure.
