GrahamU 6 Posted January 8, 2013 I would call mine 'the squatter' cos its squatting in my garage when it should be on the road.
Wullie 1 Posted January 8, 2013 mine gets called lots of swear words though. Ditto, though "She who sccasionaly gets obeyed" calls it that Fecking Thing." I assume it's meant as a term of endearment as she frequently uses fecking when describing me.
n3p 3 Posted January 8, 2013 Don't have a name for it, but my colleagues call it the 'Corrodo'. It's not even rusty! They just think any car over 10 years is a banger
delfinis38 1 Posted January 8, 2013 Mines called corrie :) Although I was calling her something less tasteful today when I had the rear brakes apart. :(
dumptyboy 0 Posted January 8, 2013 I call mine 'The illegal immigrant'. Because its from another country, doesn't always work, and costs me a fortune it taxes?
Hofmiester 10 Posted January 8, 2013 My wife calls it "the biscuit tin" as being inside it is like being in a tin can.......not that it smells of Digestives
OllieVR6 0 Posted January 8, 2013 I don't call mine anything other than 'the corrado'. On a less but still relevant note, I've recently discovered that I can't read any build threads where the owner refers to their car as 'she'....AAARRRGHHHHH!! Rustynuts 0 Posted January 9, 2013 Names are for air cooled buses, not for hard as nails Corrados. I call mine things like, old reliable, trusty steed, Top Gear back up car, because (touch wood) it never lets me down and is always there when the T5 and Alfa are broken (which is a lot!) bully 10 Posted January 9, 2013 hard as nails names lol like it... why do you think mines called Bully lol
Rustynuts 0 Posted January 9, 2013 hard as nails names lol like it... why do you think mines called Bully lol Still too aircooled for my liking, it is a name that gets given to old ratty splits with rust all over them and pram wheels on the front (which I love by the way) Each to their own :-)
