Recommended Posts

Oh yes, will be interesting what power a modern VR6 engine would put out with a little tweaking, hope this comes off ;)

I would absolutely love it if vw did another car with the vr6 moniker on the back.

New VW Corrado; based on the new Audi Quattro. With the new VR6 Turbo. It just makes sense.

We can live in hope but I doubt that will ever happen. This will be for uber barges only I suspect. This is the engine the new RS4 should have had.

An OEM turbo setup for the 24V. Doesn't get much better than that!

Looks to have a very short runner intake, so the turbos must be pretty small.

All I saw there was "install some bigger turbo's"

I think if it's pushing near 500 bhp with "small" turbos then it should have a staggering torque band..

Sounds great. Can't wait to rip my corrado in half by pressing the throttle pedal down. :)

A B5 RS4 motor taken out to 3l with about 1.5 bar of boost will see these sort of numbers so I would hope that there will be some good tuning potential with this one to get more.

Ive put this up before but here's a comparison between a standardish VR6, my old VRT and my RS4 with the 2.7TT engine before map tweak. All on the same dyno. Just shows you what the twin turbo set up can do.
