fla 9 Posted December 27, 2013 There was one for sale a few years back with climate and the vw mfd screen in it. Anyone remember it and if so any pics? I think the guy broke it for parts sadly.
Sean_Jaymo 0 Posted December 28, 2013 (edited) Where would you actually fit in the mfd? There is hardly any free space?! Or do you mean the sat nav headunit? Edited December 28, 2013 by Sean_Jaymo
swiftkid 1 Posted December 28, 2013 Yea I think I remember it, you mean the dark blue one with the sat nav and climate control, he had moved the climate control to where the ash tray was. Very nice bit of kit if I remember correctly, had the 4mo engine, big brakes and rota wheels?

fla 9 Posted December 29, 2013 yes that's the one. What a tidy installation, looks seamless. I need to get my climatronic sorted out now, perhaps this is the motivation i need...
Sean_Jaymo 0 Posted December 29, 2013 Just do it man! Getting it actually fitted minus the aircon isn't all that bad. I need to find a green lit one for my car!
fla 9 Posted December 29, 2013 You're right sean. I've got aircon already in mine so I want to do it all together and I need to do some more research on it.
Stonejag 10 Posted December 31, 2013 yes that's the one. What a tidy installation, looks seamless. He still has the wrong heated seat switch, mind ;) If you're grafting in a double-DIN radio slot you could do much worse than a VW Gamma with the optional six-CD autochanger. Stunning piece of kit - I had one in a Lupo once - no idea how they got so many CDs to fit!
Sean_Jaymo 0 Posted December 31, 2013 Need an amp really to get the best out of a gamma unit, they only kick out 5w standard! Don't get me wrong, I'm not part of the boot build brigade but 5w doesn't really do it for me :-)
GrahamU 6 Posted December 31, 2013 no idea how they got so many CDs to fit! The laser is on an arm that folds in and out, when the arm is folded back they split the stack of CDs then the arm moves in between them to play it. My little bit of useless info
