heater controls, backlight kit,

I'm in too, like the idea of green for the 2 outer dials and then the blue/red in the middle - Do you still need a control faceplate as may have a spare?

Ian.

The idea is to check each one for fit in a faceplate before I send it out,

If I've got a spare one it'll save me removing mine everytime I do a batch.

How much do you want for it?

Steve

Nice work! I'm in for one, original colours.

Tell me more about the headlight switch. Mine is a '93 original. Is this new or do you mean the new Chinese Jetta ones?

Mine is the one being offered on this site by 8vMatt,

It's different to the original one in that the way it dims the display is done by a transistor/mosfet where as the original switch used a variable resistor,

I'm not sure what difference (if any) this will make but I thought I'd mention it,

When I get some spare time????? I'll mock up a resistance circuit to find out

Sounds good to me,

I'll PM you tomorrow

Perhaps do a "deal" with a reduced price for one of them when ready?

Ian.

Thought I saw one person on here that had that issue or could have been another forum. Think it is to do with cheap converters, prolonged use and them getting so hot that they melt the plastic etc.

Ta for the reply. Really looks great. Dam good job.

That would be me!

I've gone over to 12v leds myself as I'm not too happy about cheapy voltage inverters inside the dash area, but your kit does look good.

Hi all

I've just placed the order for the Electroluminescence panels, inverters etc

I hope to have the kits shipped out in 2-3 weeks time,

great stuff. Would you do them in other colours, only i would want the two side dials in blue instead of green - if its not too much trouble, that is.

HI,

If you want the 2 outside dials in blue, do you still want Blue and red for the temp dial? I'm not sure if it'll look OK, but your call

Mmm purple sounds good, I'm in too, I'll confirm colour once you are up and running :)

I'm in the process of making these, do you still want purple?

I'm interested in a kit with red outer dials.

Hi

Same situation as Fla, do you want red on the 2 outer dials and red and blue on the temp dial?

Hi all

as you've probably figured out the panels have arrived, I'm doing an initial batch of 20,

Fla, easypops and Matt, can you confirm you colour choices,

cheers

If you have ordered purple just for me then yes, but if not I'd be happy with original colours

Thanks

Martin

Hi Goldie

I was going to ask the first 20 who said they'd have one to reconfirm by PM.

Once the inverters arrive I'll give payment details (still got to price up postage costs)

I suppose I'm going to have to confirm a price (for the initial 20 units).

After checking out postage and packaging costs the final price including delivery to mainland UK is £25.95,

I hope people feel this is reasonable,

I will post some photos of the finished article soon,

Steve
