seanl82 23 Posted November 8, 2014 Pretty sure they're available from Heritage, but it's just a sheet so you have to cut them to shape. Probably better off just finding something similar elsewhere for a fraction of the cost mate.
carrots 1 Posted November 8, 2014 ive just looked on ebay they do a membrane foam you cut to size it looks like the stuff you put under laminate floor.i reckon a tube of butyl sealer should stick it
robrado974 1 Posted November 8, 2014 Not sure about using that . Go to bnq or somewhere like that and buy some thick plastic sheet , double sided tape , job done .
Storm Guy 0 Posted November 8, 2014 Renewed both door membranes a couple of weeks back and used eBay sourced clear 1000 Gauge polythene with black cloth reinforced tape. The window must have been replaced previously and the replaced membrane was not good to say the least (some sort of sealer - left a messy job).

I believe the stuff they sell from VW is just the foam membrane now anyways. I used foam on the VR and hasn't leaked yet :/
