But as with everything there is a tiny problem that Mrs can't find out or I will be Castrated

Just tell her straight. I had to when a drunken eBay purchase left me with a 193k rust bucket on the drive. She got over it quick. And now she likes the car.

 

If she can't accept you for being you, get rid, she's obviously more interested in being a parent to you than a friend. Unless you have other financial commitments, in which case you deserve the bollocking haha!

And more so she don't like the cars

And there in lies the irony that either of those cars would cost 10 times the amount of a Corrado VR6 (depending on condition.....)
