JD Westy 10 Posted August 20, 2015 So my 95 VR joined the 100,000 club today , back in the day this used to be an impressive total and generally meant the car was near enough life expired. Not sure how the milestone ranks these days ? Its a 20 year old car but obviously a high end product for the mid 90,s but still worthy of merit I think ? Thursdave 10 Posted August 20, 2015 Igot this the other day on my G60! Will probably hit 200k in the new year or so. Perils of using it as a daily driver.

seanl82 23 Posted August 20, 2015 Yep, 100k is pretty damn low for these cars nowadays. It'll probably soon require some preventative maintenance with chains, guides and tensioner replacement (if not done already), but that'll probably see you through for another 100k provided its looked after. :thumbright:
dragon green 5 Posted August 20, 2015 I'm on 212k And 170k of all that,is all mine

It's next service is due in October or 102,000 all those things you mentioned are big bucks at a specialist last time I priced it when I had a Golf VR6 . I didn't do it on the Golf because the overall condition of the car didn't warrent the outlay. This VR deserves the treatment so guess I will dig deep in the pockets ! JD Westy 10 Posted August 24, 2015 Yeah co pilot handling the media device ! Impressed with the mileage's you guys clocking up , maybe 200,000 is the new 100,000 ? Mines a daily sometimes racks up 400 miles a week , just done 200 at the weekend on a trip to The lakes throwing it round some twistys on the fells and cruising at 80 mph on the motorway . VW nailed it with The Corrado
Wendy 0 Posted August 25, 2015 Mine is at 207k, 137k of which are mine over 14 years. Only car and daily user until 2 years ago, but still notching up approx 6k miles per annum. Already thinking I am coming round to 2nd set of Chains & Clutch in my time in the not too distant future. Recently had 2nd set of shocks and springs. In for new paint right now and looking forward to getting her back, seems mighty odd not having a Corrado in the garage to drive.
