Car turned 94k today and it was a superb in the Sunshine at the Stirling Classic Car Show.

 

I had to remove the 20mm spacers from the rear as there was a touch of rubbing with the new wheels.

 

Really loving the new wheels and I will probably sell the diamond cut Speedlines soon.

Mate is making key holders from old seat belt holders, bought a couple and they are cool.

Yes he does, he sells them for £10 posted and allow did was still a wee hole through from the back and used a black screw to put it on the wood. Or glue or Velcro etc would do it as well.

Leather looks lush mate! Very green with this build thread! I've the small matter of my wedding in a couple of weeks then I can hopefully start tinkering with mine a bit more! Needing some tlc for summer if it isn't over already

What a superb sunny weekend at Scotland's premier VW show, Volksfling.

 

Some superb Vws old and new and the standard gets higher year on year.

 

Delighted to say my car made the top 5 watercooled in the concourse :cheers:

That's a shame as it was the best yet, fantastic weather and a complete sell out.

Wow, wow and wow again. Just read through this thread, and I have to say your attention to detail is fantastic. I also like the in depth thread / updates as much as the car. Lots of v good information and various links to eBay parts have been added to my watch list. Credit were credit is due; I can only imagine this C having a host of awards in the not too distant future

Thanks very much, the car is just a good honest well cared for car, its not concourse and never will be as I really like my cars with their original paint and battle scars ( as long as they are not too bad ).

 

In case I never shared it, you can get VW Corrado original mats from veedubmachine. I told someone on here and I think they shared it.
