Storm 0 Posted July 1, 2004 They both look good. Going to have to follow that URL for a better look.
KARMANN 0 Posted July 1, 2004 Very nice.Does anyone know what wheels those are on the blue golf? Cheers Fraser
Storm 0 Posted July 1, 2004 Alex, as you cant right click how did you get the URL's to the specific pics?
joebloggsVR69 0 Posted July 1, 2004 Right click works: http://www.vwhome.de/treffen/2004/bergkamen/002/010.jpg http://www.vwhome.de/treffen/2004/bergkamen/002/009.jpg
Storm 0 Posted July 1, 2004 Joe, I meant from the original web site. If you go to http://www.vwhome.de and then into the gallery, you cant right click to save or get the image properties.
joebloggsVR69 0 Posted July 1, 2004 Yeah I just noticed that :D You can view the page source though, and get the URL's I know you cant right click, but you can get the same effect by pressing the key on your keyboard which looks like a drop-down list - it's between my windoze key and CTRL key, then click view source
joebloggsVR69 0 Posted July 1, 2004 Here's an easier way to get the URL Click on the image thumbnail, so the larger image is now displayed Next, left click on the image, and with the mouse button still held down over the pic, move your mouse a few pixels. While still holding the left button, hold down the right button, then release the left. Now release the right button, and hey presto, the menu appears
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted July 1, 2004 Guess that answers the question if it will wit in a Rado or not then  It's been done now, so old hat. I'm gonna wait for the R36 engine now
crazymarcel 0 Posted July 1, 2004 8) Amazeing. Thats the king, just add bi turbo and ya away.
biggrim 0 Posted July 1, 2004 Very nice.Does anyone know what wheels those are on the blue golf? Cheers Fraser They could be Keskin K5's or something similar
PhatVR6 0 Posted July 2, 2004 I don't actually think that's an R32 lump, it's got black plug leads (well, plug lead caps), R32's have red ones.
dr_mat 0 Posted July 2, 2004 But the plug caps are in the right places, rather than the 12v VR6 plug mounting points that are in two very obviously different banks. It looks fairly genuine to me.. :) What they don't show you is how low the sump sits under the front end!!
PhatVR6 0 Posted July 2, 2004 no, I meant it looks like a 2.8 24v, rather than a 3.2. very neatly done though.
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted July 2, 2004 Hard to tell isn't it. They do look tres similar, but then the AAA looks exactly like the ABV! Same head, different guts.
PhatVR6 0 Posted July 2, 2004 not sure if it's a trick of the light, but the R on the engine badge doesn't look in line with the 3 either.......call me a doubter and a sceptic if you like, but I'm calling BS on that one......
CoxyLaad 0 Posted July 2, 2004 Yep Black plug leads are definately 2.8 24v a la V6 4Motion (like mine) and red leads are on the R32 Would anyone buy an R32 engine then put black leads on it??
dazzyvr6 0 Posted July 2, 2004 depends if you like red plug leads doesnt it really
PhatVR6 0 Posted July 2, 2004 the R32 badge is cheaper than a new set of lead covers I bet............
