Pedal rubbers

Is it the mk2 golf accelerator pedal rubber that fits he rado.

 

Never understood why the corrado never had one.

 

Just checking before I buy.

I'm sure it's the Mk1,

Have got a pic somewhere,

I didn't know you could get these , I replaced the clutch and brake rubbers a few months back . I would buy one too , it would make them look complete .

Me too. If you just put into ebay 'VW accelerator pedal rubber' it'll come up with loads starting at less than a fiver. They are used across quite a few models and smarten the foot well up a bit!

I've ordered one up after giving my mk1 rubber away recently when I cleared out all my mk1 stock.

I don't understand, a bare metal pedal allows your sole to move against the pedal to allow smooth control of the throttle, why put a rubber grip on it? It makes total sense on brake or clutch pedal but not the throttle.

I understand your logic David, but I've honestly never had a problem with smooth control of the throttle. Modern DBW cars use them and the the throttle is much more sensitive than the cable operated throttle, so don't think it's an issue tbh mate.

Anyone know if the audi tt alloy style pedals fit a corrado vr6? Any other alloy VAG pedals fit?

Yes they do, but the accelerator is a bit tricky to fit. Thats what i have in my car
