dinkus 10 Posted July 2, 2004 Hi guys, I need to get a new breather valve for my VR and I know you can get just the valve from Ford, but when my spanner man went to see them they couldn't find it on their system. So does anyone have the Ford part number for a VR6 breather valve from a VR6 Galaxy?
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted July 2, 2004 Vince at stealth knows if you're in a hurry. If not, just tell those dingbats at Ford it's the PCV filter valve for the breather hose. There's only 1 on the entire engine, they really can't go wrong. It's about £30. K

Timo. 0 Posted July 2, 2004 OR bung the intake boot and stick a little K&N crank case breather on the cam cover... Did this, looks well nice. But, I get a wee sniff of oil every time I come to a stand still with the engine running! Timo.
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted July 2, 2004 You will do! Better to run a hose off to a catch tank or just tie it to the chassis ahead of the bulkhead somewhere. Then reattach the standard breather for the MOT.
