Hmmmm, a shed going for show winner money. Good luck to him. Seems to be the way these days selling cars. Just stick a ridiculous asking price up and hope some gullible / stupid muppet buys it.

£1475.0 maybe. With that lack of use I bet all engine seals and gaskets are goosed. Minor dent my ass. Complete joker and the usual if its low mileage then it must be worth a lot thing.

Yeah I was thinking it must be the decimal point in the wrong place, but in the days of people asking £50K for an Escort RS Turbo and the like, it wouldn't surprise me if it's the actual asking price!

He says reduced price!!

Look at the state of the rear number plate, its not even original FFS

Bit optimistic on that price I think despite the crazy low mileage.

Amazing that he hasn't bothered to sort the damage, fit the fuse box cover, etc etc.

And as has been said, top asking money and a totally lazy advert.

Just completed a quick MOT history check on this, its been parked up since April '07 when it showed 25k miles.

Put in for a MOT on 11 May 16 and failed with a laundry list of items (consumables though like tyres, brake discs etc.).

It may well be a 26k car but its also clearly been stored outside during its lay up period looking at the state of the rear number plate.

"Price reduced as has minor scuff to wheel arch from contact with faulty electronic gate see picture. Plus Needs windows and sunroof freeing up as been stood a while. Believe motors are ok. Heater control stuck."

very round about unspecific way of saying, OH, BTW, windows are broken, all the motors are f*cked, sunroofs nakerd, and the heaters broke" haha trying to make it sound like a 2 minute job with a can of WD40, "windows and sunroof need freeing up" OH IF ONLY LIFE WAS THAT SIMPLE

Its the low mileage therefore must be worth more attitude that annoys me the most. UK seems to have some obsession for this. Cars do not like sitting about, they need to be used to stay in good condition. The majority of the Porsche crowd are very bad for this, mileage seems to make such a difference, its bloody annoying IMO. If your cars past 100k then its worthless....lol.

Indeed! It may well have only 26K on the clock, but if the engine has received the same care and attention as the rest of the car, no thanks. That is what the vast majority of car buyers don't get. They think mileage is the only indicator of condition. Wrong. I would much rather have a 1 year old car with 26K on the clock than a 20 year old car with the same mileage. People also don't get short journeys and contaminated oil buggers engines up more than thrashing them and lots of miles.

It's all about condition on any car but that becomes an absolute with the age Corrado's are now, a car kept in a dry garage all its life will have considerably better interior plastic and exterior rubber trim condition as its not been exposed to as much UV light.

Low mileage is not a bad thing in terms of interior wear and mechanical items can always be overhauled so mileage can come into play but frankly you need an example like Chris Gaskell's old Storm for that to factor into price.

However, all this random price speculation at the moment and the fact that cars are definitely selling for around these silly prices is an indicator of future value for any good example.

Yan

I think this seller has their head in the clouds. Good show on looking up the MOT list of failed items just hope no one is taken in by the low mileage. Seems they just put it in for the MOT and did not do any prep work.

Still hasn't been shown a sponge or a vacuum cleaner either. Unbelievable.
