mic_VR 3 Posted August 4, 2016 Afternoon all Anyone got any suggestions for Temporary insurances? Basically the car has been off the road for a few months and I'm planning to take in to VW festival next weekend.... but then I'll be taking it off the road again to do a bit of a winter refurb. seanl82 23 Posted August 4, 2016 Exactly, short term policies are horrendously priced compared to the full term. I'd say just get a full year put minimal mileage. If you pay monthly you could cancel mid term, just check T&Cs to make sure you don't get stung with cancellation fees. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
