Yes bridgewater always used them for suspension, engine work etc but they did have problems few yrs ago went bust but last time I visited in 2013 they seem to be ok had good service.. axcel01uk 0 Posted September 4, 2016 I used AMD over at Thurrock a couple of times, I had my suspension done by them and my miltek exhaust fitted both good jobs and they are generally fine for doing sort of thing. I also had a couple of services done by them as well which were ok. However, I have since gone back to using another more old school VW specialist fairly near me in Great Wakering Essex (near southend) who is far better called Peter Breading. seanl82 23 Posted September 4, 2016 (edited) Yeah JMR have plenty of experience with VR6s too. Have a surprising amount of Corrados in for work ranging from general servicing and repair to full on restorations. Have a look at their website, they post up pics of cars they're working on quite regularly (with owners approval of course). TSR had a very good reputation a few years back, then all of a sudden it went downhill very quickly. Think I remember reading they were bought out and thats when the problems started. Quality of work nose dived, and they soon disappeared. I have heard they're making a bit of a comeback though. Either lessons learned, or they've been taken over again.
