dr_mat 0 Posted September 14, 2017 Dammit some well heeled Corrado collectors around... A Corrado is for life, not just for the MOT.
gazvr6 10 Posted September 14, 2017 They'll probably go for silly money. Even though they are now available again new Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
LesPaul71 10 Posted September 16, 2017 Hi Everyone, Hate to burst bubbles but VW Classics has just released both left and right roof rails for 300.00 Euros a pair less shipping. The 201.00 pound bid is cheap at the moment.
VEEDUBBED 0 Posted September 16, 2017 Righto..VEED'D will probably be removing his own personal set of roof trims and will be selling for €400 each.. Fukin crazy money for 2 bits of poxy rubber.
dr_mat 0 Posted September 16, 2017 £90 something a side, iirc. The bid of 200 or so is only a little ott, but I expect it to get worse before they sell. A Corrado is for life, not just for the MOT.
seanl82 23 Posted September 16, 2017 The thing is, some have probably seen that they were obsolete a while ago, and hasn't done their research before bidding. They are like rocking horse **** so those bidding are probably happy to pay a premium!
gazvr6 10 Posted September 16, 2017 I refurbished mine, but the drivers side rubber seal thing has deteriorated and bits come off when i wash it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

TanVr6 0 Posted October 14, 2017 Sorry to ruin the bidding wars, but doesnt Karmannski do a set of oem versions? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
ozone 10 Posted October 14, 2017 personally myself, as tanvr6 quite rightly mentioned, karmannski after all his perseverance would be my first point of call for such an item.
Dox 23 Posted October 14, 2017 There are currently 4 options, used, karmannski reps, VW Classic reps or New Old Stock. It’s really good that we have such options and differing prices / qualities to chose from?

Andy T 0 Posted October 15, 2017 over £250 quid in the end for a couple of bits of trim, mental. I'm sure a month ago there was an eBay seller doing genuine roof mouldings for £130 a pair, located in Poland, but a week later all traces of the seller/listing were gone. dr_mat 0 Posted October 15, 2017 Probably bogus then...! Even when they were available from the dealer I doubt you'd have paid any less, in fact you would probably be paying a lot more. A Corrado is for life, not just for the MOT.
