So how come Recaro's from other models, such as the Mk2 Golf or even the Proton Satria can't be modified to fit the Corrado? Its the base that's the problem, and especially if you want electric's, there's some bases on german flea-bay but one is missing a switch

I believe the bases were Corrado specific. Lots of other Recaros sit too high when fitted in a Corrado too.

 

I waited two years to find a pair of recaros in grey leather to match my interior and then had to pay £600 for them. Ten years on and I’ve had the complete interior retrimmed in new grey leather.......sumptuous!!!

Corrado Campaign came with red leather recaros.. but they are very rare... they only made a handful maybe 6

They are not a campaign set but a set retrimmed in red leather
