First only LHD. But i am sure there will be a RHD version.

Thanks Chris please keep us updated.

I'd be interested in a set or two for RHD once they're made and signed off.

Many thanks

Hi Chris that's great news 👍

I've just found this video on YouTube regarding the VX Tuning replacement Corrado euro spec lenses, from what the guy says in his review they're top quality.

Chris are these lenses available in both LHD and RHD options ?

Many thanks

Si

The headlight lens options are quite confusing has 536 which we know indicates rhd but next to it says LHD - I can see some of the Japan late lenses are still available for RHD (has a J in description which I believe means Japan - would these fit I wonder our cars.

They would fit, but they wouldn’t be type approved for safety regs in the UK - that’s why there are different lenses for different countries even if RHD.

You’d want an eagle eyed MOT tester to spot it though.

Yeah I have seen those on Classic, good find Keyo.  Regarding most vehicles that are imported into the UK including any from Japan that are a few years old, I think they have to go through an SVA (single vehicle approval) test or IVA (individual vehicle approval) test, to make sure the vehicle meets all road safety standard regulations for UK roads,  plus the MOT test as Fen has mentioned.

Years ago I worked for a place where we had some car trader customers who were importing various cars from Japan/China, we had to fit UK spec rear light units with fog light, or had to wire in separate fog light and fit it to bumper or customize it into bumper so it looked kind of OEM, but that was only when the car trader didn't want to fork out for a new rear light unit. I recall we had to change/replace one or two headlights on some cars from Japan/China but it wasn't that many to be honest, most well a lot of the vehicles would pass the SVA test regarding the headlights on a RHD car from Japan/China. But this was roughly 20 years ago now when I was last involved in that.

I spoke to Mike from VXtuning a while ago.

He has confirmed that a seller form UK has exclusively ordered RHD glasses from his form for all customers from the UK.
I cannot guarantee that this will actually happen. New shapes for RHD glasses would be necessary.
The problem is the approval of the glasses, whether LHD or RHD.
I still work with VXtuning. As soon as I have news, I will let you know.

Approximately € 250 including UK shipping.

But Spoonfed apparently has someone in the UK who offers the lips there. It would probably be cheaper for you to buy the parts from him.

How much are the different clips,

Windscreen trim clips

Tailgate trim clips

Headlight adjusters

Windscreen trim clips Set (10 pieces) = 45€ + shipping

Tailgate trim clips Set (6 pieces) = 17€ + shipping

Headlight adjusters (1 unit) = 39€ + shipping

Shipping is currently problematic.
Since Brexit, shipping to the UK has unfortunately become very expensive and also has to go through customs.

The cheapest insured shipping to UK currently is 17 €. For a couple of clips, that's pretty much. Perhaps a group order would be an option.

greetings
Chris

Nice work there, thanks for making parts to keep our old girls the road!

Do you make the headlight repair clips for where they mount to the slam panel?
