dr_mat 0 Posted August 24, 2004 Most people get the same experience.. with new wipers, that is.. Come back in 6 months time (even if you never use them).. :( Worth doing, nonetheless, but the VW blades don't last long.

Supercharged 2 Posted August 24, 2004 but the VW blades don't last long. I've had mine about a year now and there fine, check what sort of screenwash you are using, it may contain too much alchohol in which case its also damaging your window seals - I only use Decosol or the VW stuff

My Lupo wipers have been on for 18 months now & still work far better than the useless excuses that the car came with

stevemac 0 Posted August 24, 2004 Had mine on for about 6 months and are juddering like mad at times. Is this wear in the linkage or buggered wipers? Could be either but as the wipers are fairly new I'd say your linkages are worn/loose.
Den_VR6 0 Posted August 25, 2004 After the rain we had in Manchester this morning - I can certainly recommend Lupo wipers- makes a change being able to see through the screen when driving above 60mph.

dinkus 10 Posted August 26, 2004 dinkus, When I bought them for my old VR I think they were nearer to £50 :!: Thanks mate will be down the stealers tomorow for them :!: The arm and blade kit shown on there is definitely £20ish (depending on what discount you can wangle) from the stealer. You will need to ask for that specific part though, as it's unlikely they'll be able to find it otherwise.

VR6 0 Posted August 26, 2004 Knowing Corrados, you'd think it was one of those jobs where you start by removing the wipers and by the time you finish, you've changed the fuel pump, coilpack and two top mounts.

STORM 2 0 Posted August 26, 2004 when i changed mine I was ready to do something else it was so quick - so I took apart the coil pack to have a fiddle and clean it up before putting back - didnt resolve the misfiring but made a noticeable difference in low down pickup
