  1. just got back from ibiza on sunday, while i was there saw three rado's.

the first was a dark blue or purple one spotted by my girlfriend while we were out for dinner, her knee jerk reaction was to shout corrado very loudly so i didn't miss it going past............then she realised what she'd done

the second was a white g60 or 16v outside4 manumission @ about 5 in the mornin.

the third one was seen a few times parked outside cafe mambo (driven by a gorgoeus twenty something spanish girl) 8) car was a bit beat up tho

these were a breath of fresh air compared to some of the discracefully modded motors i saw out there.

  2. Thats why its best to get a professional job 8)

    this offer is still available.

The tints are covered ie guaranteed for as long as you own the car (if your EUG thats not much of an incentive but for the rest of us  )

    hutchy.

  3. You won't get 120mm on the front with any wheel size ( and be able to turn anyway ), but you can get 120mm on the back.

I'm runnin the supersport coilovers wound all the way to the bottom on the rears and about 4/5ths of the way down on the fronts.

I use my car everyday (40+ miles), sometimes it feels like i should buy a kidney belt and a neck brace, but i'm used to it like that i ran my mk2 golf at the same height. I think its up to you, depends wether you like it bumpy or not :?:

As for wether your wheels will fit - i'm running 9x16's with et15 (205/40/16 stretched tyres) which required a huge amount of arch work. :!: :!:

  4. Just thought i'd let forum people know that i can i have an account with a local window tinter. i've just negotiated a special forum price with him.

He will tint a corrado for £185 cash if booked through me (he will tint any car at a discounted rate if booked through me). I know this is a good price as I have checked a few local companies and they were quoting £260+.

He is in the Manchester area, if anyone is interested please contact me on 07968 620 318.

  5. Crazymarcel, its a custom made jobbie that was on there when i bought the car, i think its using a golf mk2 eyebrow, not sure what the slats are made from. i like the grill its just that its getting a bit tatty, it might be cheaper for me to recondition this one rather than pay £90 + spraying for a new one!!

Bournemouth 20VT James, (I'll say seven words very very quietly) - Angle grinder  very fine file stone guard. As long as your careful and precise there's no issues. If i was on a bottomless budget i'd have had them rolled or pulled, but i'm not :)

  6. cheers mate.

the backs are three threads from the bottom and the fronts are prob about four fifths of the way down.

The rims....... sorry the tyres just go under the arch, the rims actually stick out past the arch. the rim would hit the arch if they dropped further  which would make a nice mess :!:

saw the pics of yours earlier, its lookin sweet, i'm envious of how far under the arch your rims go :p

  7. Finally got the coilovers fitted and set to an 'everyday height'. I run it as low as it'll go everyday and just deal witht the problems :)

got a flush rear number plate panel on the way and possibly a new grill and eyebrow coz the custom ones a bit tatty.

    cheers

    hutchy.

  8. Bournemouth 20VT James, - yep :)

i'm having a few issues at the moment with the right rear arch, i'm tryin to get them level but as low as possible. i'm thinking about investing in a kidney belt as well coz i'm taking a right beating on bumpy roads

The rear supersports are spun all the way to the last 1-2 threads, the fronts are about four fifths of the way down but the gap from arch to tyre is about 7mm on the front and -2mm on the back

I didn't shell out on coilovers to sit at 60mm :D

  9. I'm runnin 205/40/16's on my 9x16 brocks. I ran 215/40/16's on my last set that were on a mk2 golf but there was too much tyre if you know what i mean.

the 205's are obviously stretched but they get plenty of stick off me and have never popped of the rim or turned inside out

here's a pic of my rim, ooer

    hutchy.

  10. here's my new system.

its full custom made stainless, chose this backbox because i thought it suited the low wide stance of my C. which didn't have the recently fitted coilovers when these pics were taken.

hope you like but don't copy

  11. will golf mk5 wipers fit my 1990 16v in the same way the lupo ones do?

    or the bora 04 ones?

they look the same type but are the sizes and fittings the same?

cheers for your help in advance :)
