  1. We'll do it for £225 inc vat mate. ( BODYSTYLE UK LTD - 0161 877 0800 - DANNY ) We're in Trafford Park Manchester if its any good to you?

That includes blowing into the wing and the quarter, thats a C Forum rate as well pal.

Anybody else interested in body work quotes, fire away.

  2. Have vr6's always come with the speedlines on??

Because i've got a set of rims to sell and they're 5/100 original vw, its difficult to describe the style. It looks sort of like a porsche design 90 :?

I don't recall seeing them before, unless they look different off the car.

I can't get pics up at the moment :(

Any of your pics would be appreciated then i can say yes or no

Obviously they wouldn't have had to come of a corrado but that was my first thought. Suppose they could be an early mk3 golf gti design.

    Cheers

  3. This is a simple one. You need a bolt with a loose shim or neck, this allows the seat to shift slightly making up the difference in the patterns.

I can supply these for next to nowt, pm me if you want em.

They are used by almost all alloy wheel suppliers, including ourselves, in order to ufit the very popular 4/100 drill onto the not so popular 4/98 vehicles eg. fiat's and alfa's.

  4. Why can i not see the images that people are posting up??

oops i can see them now.

    They are Audi RS6 wheels.

PM me if you want a price on the replicas to fit the rado vr6 (inc size 17",18"...........or 19").

The originals are only avail in 5/112 but i can do the reps in 5/100.

  5. Thanks jim :(

you just brought back the horrible memories of about a month ago when i heard a bang outside the house, looked out of the window to see a young boy laid out on the floor tangled in his bmx...........and a nice black line down the door of my white C.     got his dad round and sorted out a nice fat cheque :D

    I'm ok now though.

  6. :?: Will the mk3 golf gti calipers and carriers fit onto my corrado 16v??? :?:

:?: Do they use the same size disks as the G60 corrado (for the four stud)?? :?:

I've been told by some people that they fit but i want to hear from someone who won't make money by tellin me they fit, if you know what i mean.

Please help asap as i'm in the process of buying all the bits and don't want to finalise until i know they'll straight on :help:

    Thanks in advance :)

  7. Those specs are not very accurate, for instance mk4 polo steelies are about 5 inches wide and come with 155's also bmw x5 sports come with 10 x 20's and have 315's on. so their not not really accurate either way.

I'm runnin 205/40/16's on my 9" x 16"'s. The 205's will fit the eights easy but won't be that stretched :)

  8. HHHEEEEELLLLLOOOOOO :(

I,ve just been told that the mk3 gti front calipers are the same, much easier to find too.

Got a price all in at £170 that's second hand calipers with new drilled discs and fast road pads.

Sorted, thanks for all your help

  9. I'm due for replacing the front disks and pads on my 1990 1.8 16v and was wondering if i buy g60 discs and pads will i then just need a set of g60 calipers and i'm done??

Or are there other bits i would need??

Whats a 'good' price for a set of g60 front calipers, so i don't get shafted if i have to go to a vw breaker rather than buying private??

    Thanks in advance :)

  10. I've got a slip from york for my 16.8 sec run ( 1.8 16v ). that was my second ever run up the strip :D the next couple were in the low 17's.............but we won't mention the first run

Not runnin any major mods just the usual bits and bobs + plenty of grip :)

  11. I'm in a similar situation djnomer, there's a very faint squeeky grinding noise comin from the drivers side rear. Also the car sometimes feels like its 'dragging'. When i lift of the throttle at low normal speed (30-40) it slows its self down quite quickly. Could a wheel bearing cause this much friction if it were faulty or is it likely to be the disc :?:

  12. Cheers henny...........however I've just managed to find an engineering company thats fairly local, that are willing to have a look at the job for me.

I,ve attached a pic to give an idea of the look i'm aimin at, obviously my steelies are vw.

I'm presuming the wheels will increase in size too, so the inner rim would need to be increased accordingly to keep the tyres on?

I'm gonna get the rims to the engineers asap, i'll keep ya posted though.

  13. :?: :?: I,ve heard rumors that steel rims can be 're-banded' with a wider rim. :?: :?:

I've just bought the misses some steelies for her polo mk4 ( black) which i'm hoping to widen and polish. 8)

I would be very grateful for any contact numbers or company names or locatioins.

    Cheers in advance. :)

  14. I'll keep this simple.

    1.8 16v, 1990, 100+k miles. 75bhp shot kit.

    YES or NO?

Anyone else runnin nos on there 16v, is it good.

    YES or NO?

    :)

  15. I think i got pretty lucky when i bought my corrado a month or so back, the original reg was G472 BLO, which the previous owner thought nothing of but i changed it to

64728 LO with a few carefully placed studs

Or it could possibly read GOT 2 B LO but i thought that was tryin too hard. :?

Not bad for an original reg though :D

  16. I just sprayed em an now have red indicators and reverse lights. Not ideal but it looks the nuts, really subtle. Most people don't even notice, which is how i like it just clean and simple.

All this bulb talk is hurting my head.
