    I dont know if they were on here or on the e-group but I am sure I read a mail/post with detailed instructions on how to fit a chip in a G60 about a week ago. Does anyone know where it was, or is there anyone with the time to explain it to me. Thanks in advance, Rob.

    I got the large Golf G60 intercooler and all the pipework including the u-bend for £300 from a friend in Germany.

    can anyone give me some advice on removing my front bumper please? I have just bought a golf G60 intercooler system and thought I would have a go at fitting it myself. It sounds fairly straightfoward exept I havent a clue how to remove the bumper. Thanks in advance, Rob.

    If it is the motor, check out Ebay.de. I picked up a motor there for 1 euro earlier this year! And it works perfectly too. Rob. 92 G60.

    When I had my B&M fitted ar TSR they welded it together as there have been a few cases of this happening. Everything has been ok so far.

    I wouldnt worry about the brake ducts too much, VR6's dont have them.

    So you think the whistle is coming from the pipe which carries excess/unused boost back to the charger? (the one with the capped off hole) Is it a big job to remove all the bypass system? I have thought about it in the past but was worried about not lubricating the charger. How do you go about capping off the charger, or have you fitted anothe air filter instead?

    no problem Jon Barrie, I want to make an air feed into the bottom of the airbox and it tidies up the engine bay too. I dont know if the air feed makes any difference though.

    I was sometimes getting it anyway, just not as loud. It started when I had my chip and pulley fitted. I thought it was quite common for them to whistle.

    All the boost return pipes are still in place, I have just dissconected the pipe from the ISV that goes into the boost return pipe, capped it off and fitted a crankcase breather to the ISV.

    I can't find anything good enough to change it for. I might just get another 3.5 bar FPR and try a SNS chip and see how it goes.

    Can anyone give me some advice? I want to remove the carbon canister and all the assosiated pipework and hoses. I am not sure which ones to remove and how to go about capping them off. Thanks in advance, Rob.

    Can anyone give me some advice? I had a BBM ISV reroute kit fitted untill my Samcos arrived but didn't refit it as I didn't want to cut the hose. What I have done instead is use a crankcase breather to vent the ISV to air. When I change gear at high revs I know get a really nice whistle, but am I doing any damage to the engine/charger etc? I have seen this done on lots of European cars and just thought I would try it out. Any advice gratefully recieved. Cheers, Rob.

    I may be fitting a Golf G60 intercooler set up into my car, I have been told the Golf uses a narrower radiator. Does anyone know if this is true and if I need it or will the cooler fit with my existing rad? Cheers, Rob.

    Yes I would reccomend it, When I had it fitted by TSR they welded it in instead of using some clips or something that comes in the kit as they were getting problems with the first batch they fitted coming apart. I'm sure they would explain better. It does make the gearknob about2 inches higher though, but it didn't bother me.

    I've had a B&M quickshift fitted by TSR. It's a bit notchy but fine once you get used to it and is a much shorter throw.
