Hi all, Anyone running Eibach 25mm/30mm lowering springs with bilstein b4 shocks? I have these on order but after reading on here some posts saying B4 riding rough with lowering springs on VR6. Anyone have this combo at the moment and can comment on ride. Have this same combo on a R129 SL500 and the comfort and stance is excellent hopr the Rado has the same outcome. Cheers.

Might have been modified by a previous owner, I have the chrome badges but think the red looks better .

It is true what you say but I use my corrado every day and really dont mind changing the parts for peace of mind as the car is over 20 years old so they wont have long life left, also will maintain the value of the car, but like you mentioned not a cheap way of doing things and probably a bit ocd.

Thankfully I have ordered the blue temp sensor VW OEM from parts international.
-
Is it worth replacing the two sensors either side of the blue sensor? That does sound like a good price I think I need to do my seal Valves to.

I would say you are probably spot on with your prediction , Im near Birmingham anyone know a good place to get the injectors cleaned in that area. I would say mine have never been serviced either. So I have purchased Blue temp 025906041A OEM VW O ring and clip FPR 4 Bar Bosch 078133534C What was the part number for your can and crank if you dont mind me asking.

Hi all, VR6 very late model N reg 157 k Shrick VGI I have the bad start when warm and engine is feeling a bit slow. I have all ready repaced the MAS Sensor, lambada, catalitic, PVC valve and hose and given the car a a good service, has had new sparks and leads etc, ignition coil. After reading on here alot of people are mentioning the below Crank sensor part number if possible ? is this the same as a cam sensor ? Blue temp sensor part number if possible025 906 041 A this is 2 pin but I have seen 4 pin mentioned ? Is this the fan switch as it has been changed by th FPR Regulator is this the right number 078133534C , is this 3 bar or 4 bar. Any advice would be much appreciated I tend to go for Bosch parts or anything thats going to last. Thanks lads,

I looked at my switches earlier and all the switches have differnet colour circles when illuminated anyone else got this , I dont mind because its easy to tell what the switch is then. Abliet none of them illuminate in the centre it just the circle.

I hope so it was described on the car details as uprated headlight loom with x relief relay and power, not sure this is just for extra power to the headlight or as you mentioned to make the light switch safe. Is it just the headlight switch that the centre lights up , because on all my switches its just the circle. Thanks.
-
Thanks fendervg looks like Ive opened a can of worms ha. I know when I purchased the car it has had uprated cabling to headlight and a square box near the battery which I imagine is a relay , would this be what you are mentioning. I have had the cabling put under the headlight trim now as it looked scruffy hanging off the battery and used some oem black cable cover, looks a lot more tidy now. On my light switch it iluminates orange not green and the centre does not iluminate at all this is the same on all my buttons but some have different colour circles, is yours an older switch as mine is a late model. Cheers.

Thanks Tonedef looks like my light switch is operating as it should :thumbleft:. Can any one else comment on the illuminated heater fan controls, is it just the centre dial that illuminates a fate green. Ps anyone got a black leather hanbrake grip in mint condition mine is torn on the top end. Cheers.

Hi, Hope all is well everyone! In regards to a VR6 96 N reg model, there are two settings on the light switch 1) first press illuminates circle on switch for low beam, then second press to turn main beam on but the circle light turns off and there is no illumination on switch. Is this correct. Additionaly the centre console heating and fan switches/dials. is mine working as it should with just the middle dial slighly illuminated in green. Cheers,

Hi Guys, Black Magic VR6 1996, 157,000 Shrick VGI After a bit of advise please if possible . I had a burning smell of oil coming through the air vents and after inspection could see there was a leak coming from the breather hose landing on the heatshield. So I replaced the PCV Valve and breather hose OEM VW and also added couple of clamps. Disappointingly today I inspected the engine bay and could see a small drop of oil in the same place , it seems to be coming out of the grey sleeve with the blank sensor. Shall I just leave it be is this common in The VR6 late models or anything to be concerned about? Also why I have got your attention, I have changed the mass semsor and Lambada sensor, is there any other sensors worth changing or switches that can add to the cars health . Change of subject anyone got a original leather handle for handbrake in top condition with no rips etc. Thank You

HI, I would like to introduce myself and my 1995 UK Black Magic Corrado VR6, black leather. Apparantley it's a rare colour ???? The car was advertised for 5k but I managed to get the car down to 3k as the car had not seen much love in the last 3 years, however the last owner but one owned it for 15 years and had a good spray job and a Shrick VGI with ECU re map, also the guy I purchased it from had just had the timing chain, gasket, guides and seals done at a VW specilist. I nailed him on the price as I have not long completed a project on a R129 SL500 and learnt the costs of bringing a car back to factory drive/cosmetics but well worth it. Car also came with new radiator and hoses, lupo wipers, heater matrix, battery, uprated lighting loom, hd leads coil pack etc. Sunroof and spoiler working perfectly. The car had Koni and H&R springs, VT mounts fitted at Stealth in 2003, was really trashy on the road though which is to be expected for the age of the components. Also the engine bay was looking very tatty and I prefer a stock Air Box for easy maintenance filter changes. So I have under gone a midlife refresh on the car to keep it alive. Parts fitted since ownership Chrome screws and bolts in engine bay Under Bonnet insulation from Germany , ordered initially the kit from VW heritage was awful:bonk:. Second Hand airbox + radiator cover from AMOS Warning radiator stickers + Tyre pressure sticker Demister switch Parcel Shelf complete with new straps as old one had speakers installed. Tail gate struts JP BBS RS771 Anniversary alloys (keeping sppeedlines though) Miltek catback resonated EEC Catalitic Converter Bosch O2 sensor Chrome tank straps Topran sump and bolts Cat 1 immoboliser Alpine head unit FEBI wishbone kit Lemforder Front + rear top mounts Febi Gators and bump stops Febi Drop links Febi Rear axle bushes Bilstein B4 shocks Eibach pro lowring 25mm-30mm PCV Valve OM and hose to stop leak at back of engine. Brembo pads and brakes + backing plates x4 Bosch mass air sensor. Rear registration light trim, old one had rusted out. Transmission oil change, Castrol Quantum oil change with Mann filter Power steering VW OM So just the body work left now which has rusting arches and rust by the spoiler. Can anyone recommenend any other sensor parts etc that if not operating correctly could lower performnce of engine. The Shrick appears to be working well , red light comes on at 4000 revs and the actuator pops up as it should and no lack of performance over 4000 revs. Any recommendations off some of the members would be appreciated. Will post some pictures of her when she has been to the body shop. Thanks.
