Its a 1.8, my mechanic is back with the car later on tonight so will know more then as to what needs replacing
-
My fuel pump has always been loud but since i lowered the car 40mm a week ago its too loud and somethings up. My mechanics taking a look at it tomorrow when he changes the radiator so will def know if i need a new one. Anyone know any websites so i can price one up??

I have the exact same wheels on my 1.8 valver and when dropped 40mm they look even better on the car. They wouldn't have been my first choice as they were on the car when i bought it but they've grown on me! Top car!

VW Corrado 1.8 16v G - 01/06/1990 - Full Service History - 108,000 miles - Black Metallic I bought my first corrado in October 2004 after waiting a year and a half for the right one to come along. Not done much to it yet just tried to standardise it as much as I can! Sold Momo steering wheel and replaced with original one and bought original 15” Sebring’s to replace OZ Super T’s currently on car. Needed to replace rear shockers so bought Bilstein Street line suspension kit which lowers 40mm. Other than this it will be totally standard. Hope you like it?!

At the moment i have 195/50/15 on the OZ super t's (they were on the car when i bought it). Think i will just get them fired on the sebrings. Mate works at local scrapyard so he got the machine to do it for nowt! Nothing better than saving a bit of cash!

Forgotten to mention the Alternator is only 12months old!

Hi Right - over the xmass period my battery died - the car wouldn't start - AA bloke tested batery and it was totally flat - Bought another and car ran fine for 3weeks until i drove through a huge Ford/flood, Car kept running but as soon as i stopped the car died - AA bloke came again and said it was possibly the alternator?? Any help chaps? Could it be a dodgy earth somewhere? where's the best place to check? Is there anyway of checking the alternator?
