  1. Sorry, dam busy with work..

    I found one off a g60, unfortunately for us it's bloody well broken.. The metal finger that opens the second butterfly has been snapped off.

    I've got a 16v one but the 16v version has a larger diameter throttle shaft, so it won't fit on the g60's spindle.

    I'll have another look but I don't think there's anything else.


  2. The blue alternator exciter wire or the actual big red wire that goes to the starter and then to the positive side of the battery?

    Just run a spare bit of wiring?

    Daz, you do realize the amount of work involved in changing the loom mate?.. And that's if you can find a decent loom for not much coin.

    You 100% sure you can't just add on a new section of wire?


  3. I just emailed you mate, I'm based in Rome, Italy so there's no chance of getting them delivered by then.. Not unless you use an overnite courier.


  4. Obviously yes mate, I'd put in 2 litres of cheap oil and flush the 'box first, then use the good stuff like Bardahl fully synthetic or Vw's syntra gearbox oil.

    Whilst your in there and seeing as the 'box oil has never been changed, it' be VERY WISE to carry out a complete service, including the cogged g60 supercharger's timing belt and engine timing belt too.
