  1. I might have one, or two available.

Only problem is that i don't remember How many teeth they had..

1 had 62 on the crown wheel but I don't have the bell housing anymore.

  2. That's already a great help, I'm on it mate, I'll dig a few out.

Send me your email and I'll get you photos sent off directly from phone.

    Cheers-Andrew.

  3. Hi mate,

Can you tell me the colour of the small vacuum unit on the back of your instrument panel, also I the needles are either red or white? Bloody Vw mixed around with both types..

    Cheers.

  4. Find the actual split in the line and cut out the damaged bit, grab a metal barbed hose joiner, heat the pipe with a hair drier and not an open flame, for obvious reasons.. and repair the line.

You have an idea the amount of work involved changing the entire nylon line??

Quite rare for them to split though, if I had to change the whole line I'd go braided metal pipe, like I did on my Corrado many moons ago.

  5. Hi matey and welcome along.

Cam belt change top of the list, loose inner timing chain, probably benefit with a cleaning of the injectors. Cracked rubber injection meter bellows that cause idle problems, dirty intake funnel, weak, age hardened HT leads, worn/burnt dist. cap and rotor arm, dodgy Hall sender (engine won't rev over 5000rpm) fuel filter change and through service.

Like any other 20+ year old car, there's always something and I haven't even mentioned sunroofs, door handles, suspension Bush's....

  6. That's a first chris!

Looks like i'll have to pop over one day and 'lighten you' of all your bits matey, you have far too many, it's confusing you..

  7. Christ, there are some rite effin donkeys around, who the fu$ teaches repair techniques to these kids??

Anyway, that casing should weld up no problem. Just don't chance another plank with stripping out the gearbox and replacing the entire housing, huge job with pre-loads on the bearings involved so not a job for the average berk with Halford's spanners..

  8. Yep, Got one with only 19.000km's on it.. Also has Engine mount and anti roll bar with Perfect drop links.

Send me Your email and i'll snap you a couple of photos.

    Cheers.

  9. Right,

Got a problem regarding my old Nokia lumia 920 that fell on the floor smashing the screen..

I changed the screen twice but it won't now turn on, it only buzzes once and you get the usual binging noise when you recieve messages but nothing appears, not even the bottom lights light up.

The annoying thing is that even with a totally shot screen the bloody thing worked, untill i changed the screen that is..

I'm no noob when repairing them, i've done about 6 in the past, all 920s and never had an issue.

I'd just throw it away but it contains some very important videos and photos.

I've tried connecting it to my computer after the buzz of the phone but nothing happenes.

Does anyone know what i can do to power up the phone or know a way of extracting the memory??

    Thanks!

  10. Now this is a first, POPS DOESN'T HAVE ANY SPARE LOCK BITS????!!! After all the corrados you've had???

Of coarse mate, as usual send me your address and I'll sort you.

Have you still got the green 'raddo you managed to bag a couple of months back? Jammy bugger..

  11. How long's a piece of string mate..

It could be loads of things, Don't want to come across rude but I didn't understand much of your post either.

Anyway, Try with the simple stuff first, are the plugs good? Leads ok? Dist. Cap ok and good contacts? Rotor arm tip ok? Does it misfire under load or just when idling?

Check that lot first and report back.

    Cheers.
