Sorry, I havent read through the whole thread but I had a very similar problem with my first valver. It simply turned out to be a loose jublee clip that was attaching the vacume pipe to the bottom of the ISV. Sorry if thats already been posted! :lol:

Is it an old or late spec one? If its a late spec, there is a small black tab with a white arrow on it, make sure that this tab is covering the allen bolt (manual sunroof operation) as this is a fail-safe to prevent the sun roof from operating whilst you have an allen key in the manual operation bolt. Im having some grief with my sunroof too, it will only tilt up and wont come back down or slide anywhere! Initially I thought it was the switch but I have just got my hands on a new one which is doing the same thing!! The roof tilts and slides easily when in manual operation, but the motor just 'clicks' when the buttons are pushed. Im confused, any ideas?

Well The Lupo has gone to make way for this: My new valver (previously Walesy's) being treated to a machine polish!! God its good to be back with a rado!!
