id rather the CCGB have the ebay fees in their yearly accounts.

I will take a look tomorrow on the 8th.

  4. Yep - spot on regarding the alloys. Uncommon option from VW. I've always rather liked them myself :) If you hanker after a set, they used to be (though not sure if they still are) available from VW Classic Parts for a not unreasonable amount of money!

As others have said though, it is strong money for what otherwise looks like a totally bog standard VR6. Worth it for bragging rights, if not much else.. I'd be terrified to put any miles on the thing!

Not seen them on classic part site for a while.

    How's the BMW.

  5. l have a 2.0 16 v which l am happy to have (even whit the bonnet open all the time but as this time doing wiring inside the car .the joys of classes cars)why previous owners do things right.sorry on a range Saturday night got beer inside me

But it seams that lt that the is not a lot out there, only seams to be v6 that has a few issues

Gosh you had a good evening out on the beer.

  6. Mines not long back from the paint shop , so I don’t want to do anything yet . I’m still undecided too . I think I will remove the no plate and offer it up , then decide.

My old number plate was too long for it by about 5 mm... not tried my current plates.

  7. The alloys I believe are brands hatch rims which was an option in place of Speedline. Quite rare these days.. they don't look as good as Speedline, but would love a set as they are rare.

Yup I noticed the exhaust my origional exhaust was changed at 40k. Plus ht leads.. wondered why an m plate had 50mm chin spoiler, thought it was n plate.

Also clear side repeaters origionally they were amber.
