    Airco was never an option on a corrado, it was retro fit afterwards... I had mine fitted at a porker dealer in 1996

    I went saturday so didnt see that but watched the final shoot out on their live feed

     

    That live feed is great... no need really to go and sit in a traffic jam... gosh it was silly hot at the weekend not much shade in goodwood either... thank god for free drinks on the Audi stand.

     

    That Aston went for silly money in the bonhams auction on Friday... something like 10.2 million a record sale.

    Yup an electric showdown... did you see the porker just drive into the back of the other porker on the hill...

     

    I'm a jenson button fan so always good to see him especially being interviewed on top of the house.

    I'm also an OEM+ man... I've kept the 12v engine and have added a few nice bits which I'm hoping will just liven it up a little.

     

    I've completely rebuilt the engine, re-bored/new pistons, fully balanced, ported cylinder head with matched inlet and exhaust manifold, Shimmel 263 cams and a Schrick manifold. all built with genuine or as close as you can still get parts.

     

    Unfortunately the project has stalled due to an unscheduled house move :(

    Giles... on a different note.... any recommendations on a body shop locally... not for the corrado but an Audi. Had a ding pulled out, but it needs a touch of filler and spraying... would normally do it myself. But don't fancy touching a car that's a few years old... don't want a body shop that's more interested in insurance work and telling me it needs a new wing.

    They are no good for you...... I feel really smug when I sit in mine :lol:

     

    Should of bought these of harrier at the time... but thinking about it I would feel really guilty sitting in them knowing harrier has another corrado now. Probably would of sold them back to him....:(

    Gesssss that definitely wasn't worth the hangover :(

     

    Would of been better off flipping a coin at half time it was that dull.... was a nice goal from Belgium thou..

    Nothing major, I've left the Polyester a while to settle but started flatting it now. Been mainly removing the engine from the Audi.

    Should have some decent updates in the next few weeks though.

     

    Look forward to it... seen a few on the road this weekend... really should buy one.
